Government of AP planning to publish State Level Eligibility Test SLET 2012 Notificationin the Second week of April. After a long time of about Seven years, Osmania University has taken the responsibility in conducting AP SLET Exam 2012. In view of this Mr.Sathyanarayana, vice chancellor of OU has declared that the notification will be published in April.
What is the difference between NET & SLET exam?
There would be some sort of confusion about NET and SLET among the candidates. National Eligibility Test (NET) will be carried over by UGC (University Grants Commission). If the particular candidate cleared this exam, he/she are eligible to apply for any designation like Lectureship or for Junior Research Fellowship in various colleges or universities. The critical point in this type of examination was passing percentage was low and level of standards that they maintain in setting the written exam paper was very high. To provide opportunities for the aspirants in state level Government has decided to announce AP SLET 2012 Notification.
What is AP SLET Exam 2012?
SLET stands for State Level Eligibility Test for Lectureship. When compared with UGC NET, the written test for SLET is easy and candidate has an ease to choose the particular subject as it was only State Level. One of the major asset of AP SLET Exam was he/she will have an option to attend for test in their own mother tongue. For this Officials of Osmania University will soon issues AP SLET 2012 Notification with dates, eligibility and availability of examination results.SLET Andhra Pradesh is for the one who are very much interested in the field of teaching in colleges/ Universities in Andhra. Candidate should possess a minimum of 50 percent in their B.Ed with completed PG. It was purely an objective type test with the duration of 150 minutes.

APSLET Renamed as APSET 2012, the Government of Andhra Pradesh decided to conduct APSET 2012 Exam in May Last week. The detailed notification will release in April, 2012. APSET helps to candidates to recruit as Lecturers/Professors in Degree Colleges, Universities and other Institutions. Osmania University (OU) will take care of everything to conduct this exam and also the demand raising from Local candidates that have to conduct this exam in Telugu Language also. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have Post graduation in any stream with not less than 55% of marks for general candidates and OBC Candidates. There will be 5% of marks relaxation provided by Govt of Andhra Pradesh for Reserved category candidates of SC/ST .
